French unions have staged a day of strikes and estimate 2.5 million people took to the streets to protest government plans to reform the pension system. The government says there were 1.12 million protesters across France.

Hüseyni Ud Taksimi ve Hüseyni Saz Semai Köyde Sabah (Tarla Dönüşü) Beste : Cinuçen Tanrıkorur Ud : Bekir Şahin Baloğlu Bekir Şahin Baloğlu He was born in Kayseri, where he graduated from primary, secondary and high school. At very early ages he learned to play the ‘bağlama’ from his father Osman Baloğlu, a poet. In 1997, he got seriously involved in music when he took training in theoretics and oud lessons from İsmail Ediz. He also took oud lessons from Ali Atay and Tolga Özdemir for a while. In 1999, he entered the Kayseri Municipality Conservatory and accompanied the concerts given there with his oud. He prepared and presented weekly televised music programs for local broadcasting companies in Kayseri. In 1999, he passed the entrance exam for Kayseri Anatolian Fine Arts High School-admitted to the school as the most successful student. Here he received training in Western Music. In 2003, he was accepted to ITU State School of Art for Turkish Music, Department of Basic Studies, as the most successful student. He started taking oud lessons from instructors such as Osman Nuri Özpekel and Mehmet Bitmez. Upon his arrival in Istanbul, he received oud lessons from Yurdal Tokcan. In 2004, along with Bilen Işıktaş and Sami Dural, he formed the band ‘3DEM’. In 2004, he was accepted to TRT Istanbul Radio Youth Chorus by showing exceptional success.
