@misslanvin i feel like you’re right, he doesn’t have an exquisite voice, but it’s the simplicity in his voice and the depth of the lyrics that makes the combination so magical. that’s what makes it beautiful.

@keypointist I listened to it and it is lovely. I never said he was terrible and he does a lovely job on this song; also because it is such a sweet and simple song. I like Chris Martin. He is cute, sweet and utterly charming. That is precisely what elevates his ordinary voice into something spectacular. Remember that Neil Young nor Bob Dylan had crystal clear, classically beautiful voices and they are bigger legends than Mr. Martin.

Everyone will hate me for saying that Chris Martin has such an average and ordinary voice. It is not horrible, but not beautiful either. The song is lovely though. My favorite Coldplay song. ((-; Johnny Cash would have done it better. I know that. ))-;

Yep as far as the song itself is concerned it will be the same (both will be full versions), as far as quality, if you get it from itunes the quality will be identical if you play it through a “normal” speaker system (like, worth less then 8 or 9 thousand $)
