.. when other players put a simple touch and move with the ball, it seems normal..
but Zidane is different, even every simple touch and move from him is amazing and joy to watch..
and it seems that he does things with the ball calm and effortless.. he is from another dimension.

I agree with you.When a team make zidane as the center of their formation,they always win.Because when he played,he open up spaces for his teamates,thus created a lot of opportunity to score .Every great player have great speed,except zidane

What I meant was that all the players played a supporting role to him. Beckham is quoted as saying that “whenever we’re in trouble, we just give the ball to him (zidane)”

zidane was a playmaker, of course he had players who ran for him. that doesn’t mean he didn’t do his share of runs; figo had at least 6 assists on zidane goals. and saying figo and raul (who are legends in their own right) are more technical is silly. zidane’s best quality was his technical play and field vision

Agreed, he was another creature at Juve, phenomenal… I was only a kid then but I remember zidane being SOOOOO good and I remember watching football italia on sundays just to watch Zidane.I liked Lazio back then they had funny players like Negro and Nesta. nedved was great then as well.
At madrid he was older, less pace and agility so he adapted, he used his technique more effectively and became a better team player.
